The fight over entering our country isn’t just waged against the backdrop of jagged barbed wire fences or steel barricades. Its ever-present entanglement of words and actions is evidenced in the halls of Congress and around the dinner tables of every-day Americans.

Americans whose job was lost to someone willing to work for less. Americans whose son, daughter, father or husband was killed at the hands of an illegal who hadn’t the right to be here and disrupt our lives. American’s whose lives were interrupted with illegal activity related to identity theft, robbery or rape.

Ask Kate Steinle’s or Molly Tibbett’s family about the dark side of immigration and the rights, the world’s justice for illegals to be here. Ask the families of those dying in pain and poverty from drugs carried on the backs of illegal “refugees.” Ask Mary Ann Mendoza about her son Brandon’s right to live being taken away by a drunk, drug-crazed illegal driving the wrong way on a freeway early one morning; an illegal previously arrested, convicted and released onto our streets years earlier.

Ask any of hundreds of other families about the right of people to just wander through the dead of night, stealing across our deserts or hiding amongst the lettuce in produce trucks “seeking opportunity.” Ask if their right to be here outweighs the legal, moral, constitutional God-given rights of a true American citizen to live in peace and safety.

The left will quote and proclaim studies that show that illegals commit fewer crimes than our citizens and yet… as Mark Morgan, former Border Patrol Chief says, he’s never seen the report, no one has ever produced it. But it’ s part of the rhetoric spouted by those on the left side of the aisle – on the south side of reality – on the underside of liberty.

The left is overly concerned, caring and passionate about those who come from foreign lands expressing their fear over, what in many cases, is normal life in their country. All while asking American’s to support, accept and pay for these whose plight in life happens to be less than ours who were born here.

It’s not about “good people” coming here seeking work. It’s not about “their rights” to seek asylum. It’s not about Americans being uncaring, unsympathetic, heartless bastards unwilling to share our good fortune. It’s about our right to live in peace and safety under the rule of law.

Some numbers:

Federal illegal immigrant convictions: (2014-2017:)

51 Murder convictions
228 assaults

On the state level: (1964 – 2017)

19,210 drug trafficking sentences
27,300 Homicide
120,300 Sex Offenses
397,000 assault
1,000 acts of terrorism.

And on the refugee seeking, caravans of care:

AVG 50 children a day require emergency medical care at the border.
7 in 10 migrants report being a victim of violence on the journey.
1 in 3 migrant women assaulted on the journey.
Dec 2018, 20,000+ minors smuggled into US.
60,000+ illegal and inadmissible migrants a month at the border.
17,000 adults with criminal records arrested by CBP.
800+ gang members found (50% increase) over FY 2017.
And 300+ Americans die every week from drugs from across the border.
With 122% increase in fentanyl smuggled BETWEEN entry points last year.
These are numbers lost in the war of caring words from the leftover “other people’s rights” to come here. These are the facts ignored, even covered up in pursuit of adding more voters to the liberal roles, or bringing in more unskilled lower-wage workers for benefit of leftist donors.

The left’s agenda? They’re not willing to spend “$1 for the wall” but will waste $12,000,000 on a study about slavery – Sheila Jackson Lee as a self-proclaimed freed slave must be thrilled.

The left loves illegals. They don’t ask for much. They don’t come out of the shadows complaining. They live under the cloak of acceptance we provide, taking what social services they can scour without raising flags of awareness. They live and take until their court date looms close then… they disappear into the obscurity of some sanctuary scenario. As written before, our net loss to these seeking a “better life”… about $115 BILLION a year. And a one time $20 billion investment in a wall is a bad thing? Hey… walls work.

This labyrinth of lunacy and lies, this entanglement of verbal excrement, is not lost on the millions that visit the cable channels seeking their daily dose of sloppy, supporting sanctification. Many long for the distorted inaccuracies as a rampart for their own inadequate, unfactual beliefs of openness and hospitality for the world’s poor and destitute.

We’ll visit this issue again soon with more stories of sorrow from those who live the real life, experienced the ultimate dark side of this illegal invasion.
