America; conceived in the minds of patriots, forged the fires of revolution, sanctified in the blood of patriotic resolution.

When this country tore itself from England, it was for many social, religious and political reasons. The patriots who pledged their lives and sacred honor to do so knew that defending this country would be an arduous, ongoing commitment to the promise of freedom they made to themselves and future Americans.

It’s not by accident that political office holders, law enforcement and the military take an oath stating “that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Part of that defense is outlined in our Constitution as a Doctrine of Sovereignty.

As a sovereign country, our borders are our geographic outline, our division, our separation from those we do not control and who do not control us. It’s, therefore, our obligation, our duty, our right to protect and defend those borders lest we become part of someone else’s sovereignty, someone else’s problematic situation of which we are not deserving – influenced by mandate of their will and intrusion.

As America more and more becomes the last bastion of freedom and rights, and with benefits sought by the world’s poorest, most needy people, we find a requisite effort is required to protect ourselves from unwanted burdens of social support, and the target of undeserving violence. Our borders becoming the battlefront for violent interaction and intrusion.

UPDATE: As of 2/4/19, there are planned for some 4,300+ troops soon to be stationed on the southern border who will aid in surveillance and the installation of hundreds of miles of razor wire. This is in addition to the 18,000+ Border Patrol agents in the Southwest districts. STATS.

The “Wall” is a hot topic of discussion as political forces push and shove their ideas, even shutting down parts of our government to make their partisan point. But in fact, reasonable, logical, intelligent people know that we cannot allow people unimpeded access to our land for purposes unknown.

We are not a militaristic society. We have no stormtroopers roaming our streets asking for our “papers” and threatening a nightstick or imprisonment for a questioning look or evasive comment. But the protection of our country does fall on all of us – in office – in uniform – in civilian attire – as a responsibility of living in a free and SAFE society. And thankfully some people get it.

His views of national security and border protection are rooted in the total, positive, effective defense against those who would harm us. For in this life, this time, we all need to be realistic and know that there ARE people out to kill us and destroy our country. This is not political rhetoric but a real truth, a hard fact, an accurate depiction in need of a strong response.

Whether seeking a “better life,” human trafficking, sex trafficking, drug transportation, crime seeking or terror-related activities, America cannot allow unfettered, unknown, unvetted, access to our society and its people. While some might consider MG Vallely’s threat assessment and response strong, are we not entitled to total protection of ourselves, our families, our country? Let’s ask:

RB ~ Sir, you’ve been around the world. You’ve seen war and peace. You’ve experienced the types of many of the individuals and certainly the mindset of those seeking peace and opportunity but also those willing to kill anyone not aligned with their ideology. We know for a fact that many in these caravans are not from central and South America but from the Middle East. How much tolerance do we show those who charge our borders for whatever reason?

MGV ~ Our southern border continues to be breached by illegal border crossers and the cartels’ movement of drugs to inner America. We must continue to be vigilant and more aggressive and forge ahead with a more offensive oriented border strategy. You cannot win and defeat this national threat by being on defense all the time. Now is the time for offensive action. If I were the Commander-in-Chief, I would have my national security staff and military commanders planning and executing a strategy that will secure the southern border and allow US rule of law to prevail.

RB ~ Understanding that you look at the solution for border security from a strong, military background, one that stands resolute in its goals and use of strength to achieve those goals. What  “non-political” actions are needed to protect America at the existing barb-wired line of separation?

MGV ~  It is now time to truly enforce the rule-of-law along our southern borders. No more excuses…no more delays…no more politics., no more kowtowing to special interest groups, or claims by open-border believers and LaRaza. The fact is that the Citizens of the USA are in daily danger and are being killed or families harmed because the border states of Mexico are controlled by thugs and terrorists copying Jihad tactics of mayhem and murder. Once again, the entire area is festooned with upheaval, violence, and lawlessness as it was in 1846. The northern states in Mexico; Baja California Norte, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, and Tamaulipas are under rogue control, and the Mexican Police and Army cannot control them. Therefore, it is in the national interest of the United States to restore order of the border as well across our borders. Because of this clear and present danger to US Citizens and our economy, positive action must be taken.

RB ~ The Posse Comitatus Act is aUnited States federal law (18 U.S.C.§ 1385passed on June 18, 1878, with the intention (in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807) of substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement. Are we entering a time when reality dictates the use of a strong military force near our borders and within the US to protect us – not against Americans but against invaders?

MGV ~  The National Guard is and will be the asset of the State Governors to be used as required to augment the Active Force BTFGs [Border Task Force Groups ] operations on the US side of the border. Coordinate with current Homeland Security Department until some HS assets are transferred under the Pentagon.

The concerns and anxiety of Americans, particularly in the Border States have grown significantly in the past year. Changes in law enforcement operations have forced smugglers of drugs and illegal aliens into ever more isolated areas, increasing the number of deaths and the level of violence to a point where even the most hardened enforcement officials are alarmed.

The political ferment over illegals has never been greater. 78 percent of Americans think and know that the government is not doing enough to control our borders; talk shows bristle with demands for action. Additionally, Global jihad and jihadis are a major threat as they eye the southern border as a path of least resistance to strike inside the United States.

The mission for the Command will be to target and conduct offensive and defensive operations on the Mexican side of the border.  National Guard, Border Patrol, DEA, and local sheriff’s units will conduct border security operations on the United States side of the border. This initiative does not violate any existing Posse Comitatus laws.

RB ~ Your own 20-mile buffer of demarcation, which you refer to as a Protection/Security Zone, does that lead some to envision a militarized presence or a logical plan of preservation for our safety and sanity?

MGV ~  Maximum use must be made of our Special Operators, Delta Force, Special Forces, Seals, AF Special Ops, Rangers, Marine Recon, and Special Ops Air Assets and augmented by Active Force regular Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force.

RB ~ What military, political, public actions need to take place in order for our government to consider, define and implement this type of plan?

Office of Representative Phil Gingrey [Public domain]

MGV ~  The US Government with its dedicated National Security Council, Department of Defense, Homeland Security, Intelligence agencies and State assets can plan and execute an operational plan to secure our southern borders.

The problems on and across our southern borders of California, New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas are in the news every day. You would have to live in a perpetual cave not to know the situation. We have a war of gigantic proportions…illegal invasions, treacherous drug cartels, gangs, human trafficking, drugs (is there not a war on drugs???), smuggling, kidnappings, and corruption of officials on both sides of the borders.

The plan is basic and advanced unconventional/conventional war planning. This combines the best use of our Forces that will encompass intelligence, targeting, structural organization of our forces to accomplish the mission, base operations, offensive, and defensive operations.

————————-

Drug routes, human trafficking, illegal immigration, our southern border area looks like the battle plan for a world war and it’s a battle we’re prepared to fight… but apparently not yet willing to fight.

We’re at the decision making crossroads of national security and political correctness. Logic tells us to protect ourselves, our country, our way of life. Some in power choose to capitulate, to acquiesce to the forces of social acceptance. The rhetoric for open borders, cheap labor, future radical leftist voters is deafeningly deadly. And, doesn’t address a real danger of terrorist access being granted for the sake of inclusiveness. A nuclear, biological or chemical attack in the heart of NYC or LA is not unthinkable when you consider the prime objective of our enemies. Are we / should we really be willing to risk it?

Our continued thanks to MG Vallely for his input and we look forward to furthering opportunities to present information on protecting America.
