Yes, the dumbing down, the coddling, the weakening, the “pussification” of America is in full swing. And the worst part is… normal, clear thinking, responsible people are letting it continue without any intelligent abatement of ever being presented.

A couple of years ago we heard of the “Safe Rooms” on campuses for those too bothered, confused or disturbed with the realities of life and in need of a hiding space to recover from the daily grind of… living.

We heard about the use of “pampered puppies” and “playdoh sessions” to calm the nerves of those so overwrought with fear and anxiety from studies, that the soft distractions of fur and clay were needed to make the world a calmer and cloistered, reclusive retreat.

The insanity got worse when, in 2015, Janet  Napolitano (Univ. of CA President) circulated letters to UC deans and department chairs directing them to attend seminars “to foster informed conversation about the best way to build and nurture a productive academic climate.” Hey Janet, here’s a thought – GET QUALITY TEACHERS THAT KNOW HOW TO TEACH REAL SUBJECTS!

The Pussification of America

Passed around like some sort of literary masterpiece or bible of the UC Occult was a handout, “Recognizing Microaggressions and the Messages They Send.”  It lists dozens of examples of mundane statements and then explains why each could be racist. For example:

Saying, “There is only one race, the human race,” is offensive because it denies “the significance of a person of color’s racial/ethnic experience and history.”

America is the land of opportunity,” implies that “People of color are lazy and/or incompetent and need to work harder.”

Asking an Asian, Latino, or Native American “why are you so quiet?” is tantamount to giving the order “assimilate to dominant culture.”

And stating the opinion, “Affirmative action is racist,” is a microaggression by default.

Assimilate to dominant cultureMicroaggression? The terms themselves bespeak controlling forces set upon unwilling minds with questionable intent.

Personally, I think things become racist when you make them racist, not just because someone used a word or phrase that meets your agenda. You weaken the world with your rhetoric.

Today we near the pinnacle of absurdness as the matriculation madness magnifies and expands with a directive that the lecturers at the Journalism School of Leeds Trinity University have been warned in an internal memo that an excessive use of CAPITALIZED letters might distress students, and scare them into failure.

Sorry but OMG just doesn’t have the same effect when tacitly penned omg. As first obtained and reported by The Daily Express, the memo was supposedly intended to “[enhance] student understanding, engagement and achievement.” Instructors were advised by it to “write in a helpful, warm tone, avoiding officious language and negative instructions.”

And in journalism speak and liberal glib gibberishness, the memo suggested that lecturers be “explicit about any inexplicitness” in their assignments. Yea, that makes sense. I think. WOW WHAT AM I TO DO WITH ALL THIS INSANITY?  whoops.

“Despite our best attempts to explain assessment tasks,” the memo continues, “any lack of clarity can generate anxiety and even discourage students from attempting the assessment at all.” [I’m becoming anxietous just dealing with your lack of clarity]

The memo also advised and explained the overly helpful instructions against “the overuse of ‘do,’ (as it sounds commanding and authoritarian) and, especially, ‘DON’T.’” (as it sounds scary and a warning)

The University of Manchester students’ union, recently encouraged people to use silent “jazz hands” instead of clapping, which could endanger people’s mental state and “pose an issue to students with anxiety or sensory issues.”

The first ballpoint pens went on sale at Gimbels department store on 29 October 1945. And colors followed but are they now being deemed unwarranted and replaced with psychological disdain like ruler ranting nuns at a Catholic academy.

At a school in the U.K., teachers have been instructed NOT to grade papers in red pen because it is a “very negative color.” Green has been suggested instead for corrections (the opposite of red?).

What’s more, teachers are encouraged to write “two or three positive comments” about the work handed in, and students can respond to their teachers’ comments in purple.

When students grow up and join the real world of life, hardships, misfortune, and evaluated by judgmental job jurists reviewing their worthiness for careers and positions, will they respond with BIG BLACK LETTERS of dismay or even adversarial notes written in the blood of roadkill kittens? What will happen when they find out their schools and the lives they led there were all a lie?

And of course to be perfectly equal in our assessment of social morays, American University has joined others and become the latest school to cancel its annual performance of “The Vagina Monologues.” The grounds? It’s not inclusive to women without vaginas. Who knew?

Really.. you can’t make this stuff up.

Schools are becoming the breeding ground of stupidity, not ideas; The wellspring of illogical conceptions rattling around our brains like so many BBs in a boxcar. As a newly elected member of congress (from the left) stated this week:

“If we work our butts off to make sure that we take back all three chambers of Congress — Uh, rather, all three chambers of government: the presidency, the Senate, and the House.”

Face it… we’re in trouble America.

And to be honest, no, I didn’t create the word pussification. In fact you can read an enlightening book on it by Doug Giles. It certainly expands on the absurdities in America.

Book cover used with permission of Doug Giles

He’ll explain all the imposed and exposed ideas saying: “PUSS-I-FI-CA-TION: The act, or process, of a man being shamed, taught, lead, pastored, drugged or otherwise coerced or cajoled into throwing out his brain, handing over his balls and formally abandoning the rarefied air of the testosterone-leader-fog that God and nature hardwired him to dwell in, and instead become a weak, effeminate, mangina sporting, shriveled up little pussy.”

The problem with Doug is that he needs to speak his mind and tell it like it is. <insert sarcasm> But in expressing himself, he certainly tells the truth of the radical, damaging changes in today’s society.

Yes society is changing, we’re becoming weaker and less involved in being who we are and more of what others think we should be. A personal note? General Mattis should be the mentor to men who want to be their own source of power and success, a real man dealing with life in the realm of reality. And women? Just stay away from NOW and Gloria, think for yourselves and you’ll be fine.

No social or verbal pussification for this writer thank you.
