Brett Kavanaugh, The Ticking Time Bomb

When it comes to defining yourself, dedicating yourself and sticking to your goals, there are not a lot more so committed to their personal life’s target than Brett Kavanaugh. The embodiment of the concept “hard works pays off.”

His mother was a history teacher in Washington having earned her own law degree from Washington College of Law in 1978. She served as a Maryland state Circuit Court Judge from 1995 to 2001. His father was the president of a leading manufacturing association for two decades; A great start to a professional career when you’ve got a solid family foundation.

Kavanaugh attended Georgetown Preparatory School, where he was two years ahead of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Neil Gorsuch. After prep school, Kavanaugh went to Yale University, majoring in history. He graduated from Yale in 1987 with a B.A. cum laude.

With his bachelor’s degree in hand, Kavanaugh remained to attend Yale Law School. During law school he lived with future judge James E. Boasberg and became a basketball partner of Professor George L. Priest, sponsor of the school’s Federalist Society. Kavanaugh served as a Notes Editor for the Yale Law Journal, and graduated with a J.D. in 1990.

While many of us hate the thought of being in the same room with attorneys, it’s still true that when you need one…you want a great one on your team.

Kavanaugh then earned a one-year fellowship with the Solicitor General of the United States, Ken Starr. Kavanaugh next clerked for Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy, working alongside his high school classmate Neil Gorsuch

Working for Ken Starr, Kavanaugh played a lead role in drafting the Starr Report, which urged the impeachment of President Bill Clinton. Kavanaugh led the investigation into the suicide of Clinton aide Vince Foster. After the 2000 U.S. presidential election, Kavanaugh joined the administration as White House Staff Secretary and was a central figure in its efforts to identify and confirm judicial nominees.

Kavanaugh was first nominated to the Court of Appeals by Bush in 2003. An analysis covering the period 2003–2018 found that Kavanaugh had the most or second-most conservative voting record on the D.C. Court in every policy area.

Of course we now find ourselves in the trenches on the political battlefield of reason at the crossroads of Truth and Fantasy.

On July 9, 2018, Brett Kavanaugh reached the pinnacle of any jurist’s career when President Donald Trump nominated him to become an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court  of the United States.

It’s important to know that, even though democrats keep calling for more and more paperwork and insisting they haven’t see enough, the Trump administration has released more confirming files, nearly 300 legal opinions, and more information than any justice in history.

As far as being on target with his opinions as Circuit Judge, the Supreme Court has adopted Kavanaugh’s position on cases 13 of 14 times, and having reversed his position only once. These included cases involving environmental regulations, criminal procedure, the separation of powers and extraterritorial jurisdiction in human rights abuse cases.

Anyone better qualified to be a Supreme Court Justice? They probably haven’t been found yet.

And yet, in true partisan form, the theatrical circus know as the confirmation hearings wasted days of our time and insulted our intelligence as reasonable citizens. As the left ranted, raved, wildly professing every possible imaginary misleading public soliloquy you could dream of, I felt the need for an extended  pharmacological visit..

After watching these defenders of the devoid, I was surprised that law enforcement didn’t enter the room and haul Kavanaugh off in cuffs for the Manson murders. The leaky lying left is starting to reach the bottom of the bottomless pit of pitiful. I was waiting for Whitehouse or Spartacus to summon armed guards to haul out the Coke can, historically stored in a sealed senate vault in the basement.

And after 3 days of innuendos, snipes and swipes, this week brings out the highlights of this democrat melodrama… the “last minute anonymous hit piece.” An accusation so ludicrous and goofy as to be (or should be) embarrassing to anyone that wears a democrat D or holds any public office.

Senator Feinstein announces the receipt 3 months ago of a letter, from an anonymous source, indicating an alleged assault by Kavanaugh some 35 or so years ago as a teenager… in high school.

Almost instantly upon hearing of the latest Feinstein Funnies, no less than 65 women from Kavanaugh’s past- with very credible first hand knowledge of him as a person from working with or schooling with him – came forth to proclaim the letter as ridiculous. The final straw in this high school charade being that the charge was so ill founded, so weak and thinly justified that the FBI refused to even consider investigating it.

So again, in the pattern of Justice Clarence Thomas’ hearings, the leftist loonies pull out all the stops to hope no one notices and everyone just accepts some undocumented assault by someone not willing to give their name publicly after almost 40 years. Were they sitting in a closet waiting for Mr. Kavanaugh to be finally be nominated for the SCOTUS position to appear?

In all the extensive, exhaustive FBI investigations into his past done through throughout his career, were they so incompetent as to miss such an important issue as attempted sexual assault?

The total freakishness of this farce has been memorialized and was circulating in a meme, a hand scrawled crayon note on old lined notebook paper that says:

“Hi Cindy. Wil you be my girlfreind  []  YES or []  NO, Love Bret.“

Could this be the ticking time bomb waiting in Kavanaugh’s past to finally appear and undo his lifetime of education and judicial excellence? Is this smoking gun of “gotcha,” the revenant reprisal of resistance meant to save America from complicit conservative conspirators?

With the left one never knows, but it is important to remember one thing. More and more, every day, the unhinged highbinders of hurtful humanity are seeking any means possible to disrupt, delay, destroy, and demonize this country and its forward march under the Trump administration.

Lying, smearing the reputation of decent citizens who have worked hard their whole lives to advance and achieve, denying rightful passage to a higher plane of accomplishment, withholding real facts or covering up criminal corruption. All actions of either inept, childish or disturbed individuals, not intent on advancing our country, but playing their games of deceit and destruction for their own gratification or political enrichment.

Yes, Samuel Langhorne Clemens felt this way in the 1800s about our leadership and it hasn’t changed. Today as we fight the same insanity, add in a little violence, vile verbal verbosity and when mixed up in a cauldron of actions, we get America’s democratic party.

I added enough history of Brett Kavanaugh so you might see the effort he has put into his life. Add to this a great family, strong religious views, decades of feeding the homeless and dedicating time to charities, and you see revealed a picture of what quality people are like. Not the ones skulking around at three quarters past 11 trying to smear a person’s most sacred possession…. their reputation.

The real ticking time bomb for the left? The fact that finally the court, after years of slight left leaning bias, may be coming back to a constitutional center with Judge Kavanaugh being confirmed. He will serve on the US Supreme Court and for years, if not decades, will rule with the constitution in hand dispensing equal justice to all and making this a better country in spite of the forces of socialism.
